Homeopathy: A New Understanding of the Natural World E = mc2 If Samuel Hahnemann, M.D., had had that equation to explain what he was uncovering in his clinical observations and studies, life for all of us would be vastly improved compared to today. The early reference works about homeopathy were based on incomplete information about many factors. What Hahnemann reported was not understood by his colleagues and his students. His wife followed his instructions to hide his notes because the others were not ready at that time to grasp the dynamic system he had developed. Currently there is wide variation in understandings of the homeopathic phenomenon and what it means. Hahnemann's attention to the whole of the person's life -- including good food, water, fresh air, hygiene, social relationships and more, in addition to removing the indwelling energy Diseases that disturbed or obstructed healthy function -- laid the foundation for us to restore a healthy environment for our own healing individually and as a species. All the classical homeopaths who avoid the subject of cancer are, refreshingly, not well represented in this book. However, the constitutional prescribing of classical homeopathy is given an important place within the method. Likewise, the surgery and diagnostic tests of Western medicine are seen to be valuable. When we have a no-nonsense book like this for the other modern, degenerative diseases, homeopathy will be well established as an invaluable adjunct to their cure. |
