Acupuncture: The two-year program at Bastyr University, including some coursework at Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. China academic trip to Shanghai and Chengdu (2 months), including nine days of internship with the temple physician at a Taoist temple on top of a mountain. While in China I made presentations about dental mercury dangers, and demonstrated Cranio-Sacral therapy. See Photos.
Anatomy dissection projects: Bastyr University. 1. Cranial membranes; 2. Mandibular dissection, neural therapy practice relevant to dental infections.
Auriculotherapy: Coursework and Workshops, no-needle ear acupuncture point therapy.
Autonomic Nervous System regulation:
1. Neural Therapy (NT) A and B: Restoring autoregulation to the Autonomic Nervous System.
2. Autonomic Response Testing (ART), levels I and II: Mind-body diagnosis and healing.
3. Applied Psycho-Neurobiology (APN) levels I and II: Mind-body approach--includes ART techniques.

Ayurvedic medicine: Coursework and Workshop--Vasant Lad, M.D. (India). Experience: Case management with an Ayurvedic physician from India, Vivek Shanbhag, N.D., M.D. (India).
Biofeedback: HRV, Galvanic skin response, EMG devices for physical therapy and stress reduction cases.
Counseling: Have been a Registered Counselor in Washington State. Hypnotherapy certificate. Graduate certificate in Spirituality, Health & Medicine from Bastyr University. Member of the DC Area Guild of Body Psychotherapists. When I work with patients my other training and experiences form a rich background for discussions and choices of additional approaches to mental health and wellbeing. This includes One-Brain, Touch For Health, Clinical Kinesiology, Somato-Emotional Release, EMDR, Applied Psycho-Neurobiology, Qi gong, Ayurvedic, Taoist and shamanistic experiences. I did the Diamond Heart/Ridhwan work for two years. Lectures and sessions of Re-Evaluation Counseling. Basic Transactional Analysis experience.
Cranio-Sacral Therapy: Several instructors. Designed my own approach: Cranial BioDynamics. Taught classes in basics, titled Cranial BioDynamics.
Darkfield Microscopy: Bradford Peripheral Blood Assessment, unique approach to observations of Dr. Robert Bradford. Worthy of more scientific scrutiny.
Dental Dangers for Body & Mind: Organized--Well Mind Association Scientific Symposium.
Dental metals and effects on health: Huggins Diagnostic Center, 2 seminars on “Integrating the Sciences of Medicine and Dentistry.”
Developmental Movement Therapy: Assessing/helping neural dis-integration from trauma.

International Health Foundation: Served on Board of Advisors for this organization started by William Crook, M.D., author of The Yeast Connection. Attended the Yeast Conference in San Francisco, 1983.

Intestinal Hydrotherapy: Study with professional colon therapists. Was the colon hydrotherapist at an Ayurvedic medical clinic in Seattle.
Iris Analysis: International Iridology Practitioners Association certification. Board Member--Canadian Neuro-Optic Research Institute, www.cnri.edu. Adjunct faculty in Iridology, Capital University of Integrative Medicine.
Lyme Disease: Attended meetings of National Capital Lyme patient support group.
Massage: Licensed Massage Practitioner, Washington State. Lymphedema massage therapy basics.
Mensa: Joined in 1982 so I could meet other people who also used their minds a lot.
Multiple Sclerosis research data gathering: Procarin (medication) management 1998-99.

Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Field Therapy: PEMP certification 2002.
Qi Gong and Tai Chi: Health and energy exercises.
SCENAR: Electro-cybernetic muscle relaxation/re-education. Certification 2003.
Spirituality, Health & Medicine: Year-long graduate program studying approaches to spirituality and the interweavings of mind, body and spirit in health and healing. Bastyr University, Seattle. This program helped me draw value from the many experiences I have had with church and spiritual groups, Native American shamans, oriental physicians, Ayurveda practitioners, homeopaths, yoga practitioners, a Taoist/Zen monk from Korea, etc.
Therapeutic Touch, Touch for Health, One-Brain, Clinical Kinesiology: I now prefer ART, APN and AET (above).
